Worksite Location: Hood River / The Dalles
Work Schedule: Full time
Salary Range: Salaried, Annual $50,044 – $58,240 (based on 40 hours/week)
Reports to:  Director of Programs

Who we are looking for?

We’re also looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, knows how to prioritize tasks and can work independently as well as part of a team to make sure that the services provided are of the highest quality. We are looking for someone passionate about supporting training needs of our organization and community partners.
What you will do…

  • Design presentations and trainings to different audiences in English and Spanish. This may include: training, facilitating, and leading focus groups or listening sessions;
  • Support the The Next Door’s internal DEI needs, including, assessments, planning and trainings;
  • Meet and communicate regularly with contracting organizations, companies, or funders;
  • Manage the activities of project staff to make sure goals and deadlines of current projects are met;
  • Work with The Next Door, Inc. Development Department to secure grants and write reports as needed;
  • Support, train, and supervise the work of Program Coordinator and facilitation staff;
  • Prepare and submit reports to supervisor and others;
  • Reach out to the public to promote the program and organization;
  • Support training needs for staff development and growth.
Education and Experience you need…
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work or relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.  Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least two years’ experience in non-profit program management, including supervision and financial and administrative oversight
  • Excellent writing skills including grant writing and/or fundraising
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and workforce
  • Experience managing and tracking contracts
  • Experience with facilitation preferred
  • Bilingual and/or bicultural in English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience and knowledge relevant to Community Health Promotion preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, own transportation, and required auto liability insurance
