Event Description:
The Hood River Ranger District in cooperation with Middle Fork Irrigation District and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is offering a FREE youth fishing clinic for children ages 11 and under. The clinic is being held at the Middle Fork Pond in Parkdale, OR on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult and will be asked to register upon arrival in order to be eligible for prizes and refreshments. In addition to the fishing clinic, there will be arts, crafts, games, and FREE hot dogs and soft drinks. Please wear shoes for wet ground, bring warm clothes, sun wear, and fishing gear. If you do not have fishing gear, loaner rods are available in limited quantities. Directions: To get to Middle Fork Pond from Parkdale take Clear Creek Road South for about 3 miles until you reach Laurence Lake Road. Take a right on Laurence Lake Road and follow this road for 2 miles. Middle Fork Pond will be on the left hand side.
